Cake Smash Photoshoots in Dubai

Cake Smash sessions take place in my Dubai studio. I provide all the props, décor and set design. You’ll have access to a curated collection of dresses, tutu skirts, outfits for boys and girls, and cake accessories. (Cake is not included.)

The best time to schedule a cake smash is about one month before your baby’s first birthday. During the session, we begin with classic portrait photos in a beautiful outfit, follow with the cake smash itself, and end with a fun bubble bath to clean up and capture some playful splash photos. Cake Smash sessions are always full of personality and surprises!

Most sessions are scheduled after your baby’s first nap, usually mid-morning. Since some babies are unsure about the texture or taste of cake, I recommend letting them try a similar cake a few times before the session so they are familiar and comfortable.

Buttercream cakes photograph best. Please avoid cakes with red frosting and chocolate cakes, as they do not look as flattering in photos.

Cake Smash – 5000 AED

  • 1-hour photoshoot.
  • Portrait-style images of your baby before the cake smash.
  • Coordinated decorations, themed backgrounds, outfits and balloons.
  • Bubble Bath Splash – photos taken during a bubbly bath at the end of the session to clean up the cake.
  • All images from the session (approximately 50 color-corrected high-resolution digital images).
  • 15 images of your choice fully retouched.

  • 1.5-hour studio photoshoot.
  • Portrait images of your baby before the cake smash.
  • Time to photograph mom, dad and baby together, as well as images with siblings.
  • Themed decorations, backdrops and outfits.
  • Bubble Bath Splash images at the end of the session.
  • All images from the session (approximately 70 color-corrected high-resolution digital images).
  • 20 images of your choice fully retouched.

No grandparents. One look/outfit for the family. If you would like extended family coverage with multiple outfits and backgrounds, please book a full family session.

Additional Details

✓ A 1800 AED non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking and is applied toward your chosen package. If the retainer is not paid within 48 hours of booking, your spot will be released. Your session is confirmed only after the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session and can be paid by check, cash or credit card.

✓ Sessions are scheduled Monday–Friday only. The studio is closed on weekends.

✓ Within two weeks of your session, you will receive your color-corrected digital gallery (you may keep all of these photos). After viewing your gallery, you will select your favorite images for artistic retouching. These selected favorites will be fully edited and delivered via digital download. Artistic editing takes approximately 2 weeks. All packages include digital portrait files only; no physical prints are included.

✓ Additional fully edited images can be purchased at 125 AED per image.

✓ If you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.

✓ All prices are subject to change; however, once you have booked your session and paid your deposit, your pricing is locked in.

✓ Original RAW files are not available for purchase. Digital files include a print release, but Ramina Magid retains the copyright to all images.
